Just who are the oppressors of which you are victim? People? Institutions? The Laws of Nature? They are but tools in the hand of their Master. Or are you the victim of your own Creator?
The Designer of this cosmos does not contrive schemes to undermine His own creations. He knows us as He knows Himself; He sees His world from our eyes; He is our life and our essence. When He makes demands of us, He meets us on our own ground, not according to His unlimited power, but finely measured to the capacity He has hidden within us.
There are times when you compare the burden on your shoulders to the strengths you know you have, and it seems impossible. But He knows better the hidden powers of your soul. And He has faith in them. For He is there within them.
Sounds like modern day feel good nonsense. Ask anyone with a chronic illness who has to spend their life in hospital, check on the child who is being physically and otherwise abused daily, ask how powerful they feel. Pure nonsense.
I can only counter your comment about the really unbearable sufferings of others by citing my own experiences over the past 83 years. Throughout my life I faced many challenges (though never a physical one) and for several reasons I was inadequate to meet them without outside aid At a toyng age I started to address G-d
with the prayer before bedtime. Then I started attending Schul and putting on t'fillin. Later I sought the Rebbe's blessings to solve acute problems. Everything worked out fine. Every so often I am faced with challenges. I see them as tests fof my faith in the above. My learned reaction is first גם זו לטובה.
Then I do חושבים, how do I turn things around, with faith, help from friends and internet resources?
